Momento Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Momento. By using the Momento app, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Description of Service

Momento is an iOS application that allows users to:

• sign in,
• create projects,
• upload short video clips,
• rearrange clip order,
• stitch clips into a single video, and
• download or save the finished video to their device.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Momento. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. User Accounts

Momento uses Sign in with Apple for authentication. You are responsible for maintaining access to your account and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. User Content

You retain responsibility for the video clips and other content you upload to Momento. By uploading content, you confirm that:

• you own the content or have the necessary rights to use it,
• your content does not violate any law or infringe any third-party rights, and
• your content does not contain unlawful, abusive, or harmful material.

Momento stores uploaded clips, generated thumbnails, and stitched videos solely to provide app functionality.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use Momento for unlawful purposes,
• upload content that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights,
• interfere with the operation or security of the app,
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or stored media.

6. Processing and Storage

To provide the service, Momento processes uploaded media, generates thumbnails, normalizes clips, and stitches selected clips into a final video. Media files are stored in private storage and are intended to be accessible only to the authenticated user through secure access methods.

7. Availability

Momento may temporarily be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, processing delays, or service interruptions. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

8. Deletion

Users may delete clips and projects within the app. When deleted, associated records and stored media are deleted as part of the app workflow.

9. Privacy

Your use of Momento is also subject to the Momento Privacy Policy, which explains how account information, uploaded media, and related app data are handled.

10. Intellectual Property

The Momento app, including its design, software, branding, and related materials, is owned by Momento or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of the app itself.

11. Disclaimer

Momento is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Momento disclaims warranties of any kind, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Momento shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, content, or business arising from your use of the app.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Momento if you violate these Terms or misuse the service.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of Momento after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
